In-office treatment
BOTOX® Cosmetic
Temporarily soften selected expression lines by relaxing targeted facial muscles.
Overview
Understanding the procedure.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a neuromodulator used for FDA-approved cosmetic indications including moderate to severe frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet in appropriate adults.
Treatment is designed to soften muscle-driven lines while preserving natural expression. Effects are temporary and commonly last about three to four months, though individual response varies.
Is it right for you?
Candidacy is personal.
Adults bothered by dynamic expression lines may be candidates after review of health, medications, prior treatments, facial movement, and goals.
What to expect
A plan shaped around you.
Small amounts are placed into selected facial muscles with a fine needle during a brief office visit. No general anesthesia is needed.
Recovery
Time and support for healing.
Most patients return to normal routines promptly. Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, headache, or eyelid or brow changes can occur and are reviewed before treatment.
